Purchasing a VIEW Machine

Installation Services

Installation and on-site calibration are included with the purchase of each VIEW system. A View A2LA certified service technician will assist with system placement, leveling and unpacking and will perform a standard set of system checks before calibration. The customer is responsible to move the system from the dock to the installation location by appropriate means, and for providing the necessary power and any other required utility connections.

Training

A basic training course for up to three (3) students at the VIEW training facility in Simi Valley, California is included with the purchase of each View system. For customers who have already completed basic training, an advanced training course may be selected in lieu of the standard training.

Warranty & Support

All VIEW systems include a one-year warranty on parts and labor. If service assistance is required, customers should contact VIEW’s customer support hotline - 1-800-SOS-VIEW (1-800-767-8439). In many cases, problems can be resolved via telephone support. If repair parts and / or a service technician are needed on-site, these can be dispatched by VIEW. Quality Vision Services - the service arm of Quality Vision International - has a staff of service technicians based in 13 states.

Applications & Software Support

During the warranty period, View systems are also covered under VIEW’s applications and software maintenance support program. Applications and programming assistance is provided by telephone, and available upgrades to the originally purchased software are available at no charge. Required computer or hardware upgrades and installation services must be purchased at prevailing rates). VIEW’s staff of applications engineers is dedicated to supporting the installed base of systems, and routinely provides support to systems that are ten or more years old.

Upgrades & Retrofits

VIEW’s customer support staff actively develops and markets upgrades and retrofits for older VIEW systems, extending their production lifetimes. VIEW provides standard and custom retrofit packages and installation service for systems up to 20 years old.
